Mr Norman Taylor

Executive Chairman

Having qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Price Waterhouse, Norm pursued a career in business development initially with The Bell Group Ltd and then Normandy Mining Limited and Santos Limited. With these groups Norm had senior roles in numerous corporate acquisitions (both on market and off market), capital raisings and corporate restructuring with experience gained in Australia, UK and USA.

Norm subsequently established his own corporate advisory business concentrating on the resources industry providing advice on acquisitions, fund raising and corporate strategy to a range of listed and unlisted companies before establishing Core Resources, an entity that preceded the establishment of Australasian Mining Limited.


 

Mr John Riordan

Non Executive Director

John has more than 30 years’ of experience in the mining and resources industry and has held senior positions in the mineral processing and base metal refining operations. John has successfully filled roles in business and project development and corporate and technical management. He has in-depth knowledge and understanding of the extractive metallurgical industry from a technology, design, operations and management perspective.

John is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (FAusIMM), a member of the Institution of Chemical Engineers (MIChemE), a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD) and a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ).


 

Mr Xu Hengyao

Non Executive Director

Mr Xu is a resident of the Peoples Republic of China. He got a BSc Honours from Department of Chemical Machinery, Guangdong Pretro School. He has over 19 years of experience in chemical machinery engineering and 15 years of experience in company management. From 1983 to 2002, was a senior engineer and managing director of Ningbo LPG Corporation. He has over 10 years experience at import & export business and currently is deputy director of Zhejiang Yuyuan Technology.


 

Mr Jin Boyin

Non Executive Director

Mr Jin is a resident of the Peoples Republic of China. Mr Jin studied and worked in Japan for seven years where he gained a high level of knowledge and expertise in the surface treatment industry. Mr Jin founded Win-Win Technology Group in 2010, one of China’s leading companies in aluminium anodising as well as electro and electroless plating.


 

Ms Kimberly Reeder

Non Executive Director

Kimberly Reeder is a lawyer with over 20 years of experience in the oil, gas and energy resources sector. She has held management and executive leadership roles in international energy companies for the last 15 years, managing corporate governance, exploration, major construction, engineering, and production issues – as well as teams of lawyers responsible for legal governance and risk analysis of investment portfolios throughout Asia and Australia. Kimberly also teaches international oil and gas law and provides international negotiation skills training annually for the upstream resources industry.


 

Mr Nicholas Green

Non Executive Director

Mr. Green is a resource industry professional with over 24 years of global industry experience across gold, base and technology metals projects, and bulk commodities projects. Mr. Green has worked as an executive with management responsibilities in resource development, feasibility and financing through to full project execution and start-up of multiple large scale mining and minerals processing assets across Australia, West Africa (Ghana), throughout South East Asia (Laos, Thailand, Vietnam and Indonesia) and the Pacific (Papua New Guinea).

He currently holds the position of Executive General Manager, Merdeka Copper Gold, based in Indonesia, developing a pipeline of major gold assets. Prior to this role, Mr. Green held Group Head of Projects positions within Rajawali Corporation and Adaro Energy, in Indonesia, developing gold, iron sands and coal assets.

Mr. Green is a qualified mechanical engineer with a demonstrated track record in identifying, evaluating, implementing and operating open pit mining and mineral resource investment opportunities across all stages of the development cycle.

Mr. Green holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering Degree from the University of Tasmania, and completed post graduate studies at Deakin University.
